I Jamiroquai sono un gruppo musicale di artisti stranieri britannici. Il loro genere musicale è acid jazz, funk e soul. Anche la voce così inconfondibile di Jay Kay (agli inizi l’artista fu lanciato come il nuovo Stevie Wonder) ha acquistato ulteriormente in sfumature e profondità, come afferma lo stesso artista: «Sto usando la mia voce in modo un po’ diverso, forse più rilassato. Ho leggermente rallentato il ritmo. È importante crescere con la musica». Quanto a crescere, Jay Kay è senz’altro cresciuto. Sulla breccia da ben diciotto anni, il musicista britannico ha venduto ben 25 milioni di copie dei suoi dischi.
