Junk Of The Heart (Happy) è il primo singolo dell’album omonimo dei The Kooks, la band inglese di Brighton composta da Luke Pritchard, Hugh Harris, Peter Denton, Chris Prendergast. Il singolo presenta chiare influenze dei The Rolling Stones, The Beatles e Bob Dylan e anticipa l’uscita del terzo album uscito a Settembre 2011.

Una canzone facile con un ritmo abbastanza fresco e trascinante che sta riscuotendo un enorme successo.  Intanto possiamo ascoltare la canzone pop-song valorizzata da una curiosa alchimia tra suoni acustici e accenni sintetici che creano un substrato malinconico. Bravi nel reinventarsi.
La band il 27 ottobre suonerà all'Alcatraz di Milano.
