La nuova stella del rap americano, continua a mietere successi, il nuovo singolo di Wiz Khalifa “Roll up”, di cui vediamo il video musicale youtube, anticipato dal fortunato “Black and yellow” è  in rotazione radiofonica da venerdì 15 aprile. L’album da cui è stato estratto il singolo, pubblicato su etichetta Rostrum/Atlantic, in America ha venduto oltre 2.5 milioni di singoli digitali, il video relativo ha superato i 3 milioni di visualizzazioni. 

Esce il nuovo album “Rolling papers”, che negli States ha debuttato entrando direttamente al secondo posto della Billboard “Top 200 Albums” chart.

Cameron Thomaz, meglio conosciuto come Wiz Khalifa, figlio di due militari, si è dedicato al rap dalla tenera età di 8 anni e ha iniziato a registrare musica dai 14. Wiz Khalifa ha preso parte ad una serie di date dell’ importante” Rock The Bells tour”, insieme a leggende come Lauryn Hill e Snoop Dogg e parte subito dopo per gli Stati Uniti con un tour che lo vede protagonista, il “Waken Baken Tour”.

Dopo una serie di collaborazioni con numerose star rap di lungo corso, inclusi Rick Ross e Diddy, e aver umilmente rifiutato l’ offerta di Drake di unirsi al suo tour, è più che mai evidente che Wiz Khalifa è ormai una realtà affermata anche online, con oltre 1 milione di amici su Facebook e 500.000 fan che lo seguono su Twitter.
