Britney Spears ha affilato le sua armi migliori in occasione della pubblicazione dell’album Femme Fatale, settimo album della sua carriera che, almeno nelle sue intenzioni, dovrebbe riportarla sul trono della pop music, oggi dominato da personaggi come Lady Gaga e Katy Perry. Insomma, si tratta di una vera e propria dichiarazione di intenti, perché lei è stata la vera prima lolita del pop, e sebbene gli anni siano passati, vuole tornare a recitare il ruolo che le compete.
A quasi tre anni di distanza dal coraggioso Circus, ci aveva già pensato il primo singolo Hold it against me a far capire la nuova strategia della bionda cantante.Dall'album Femme Fatale, Till The World Ends è il nuovo singolo, vero e proprio promemoria, perché Britney è intenzionata a deliziarci con la sua musica fino alla fine del mondo. Il video musicale youtube rende perfettamente l’idea.
La moda di oggi impone video che sembrano dei veri cortometraggi, e Britney Spears non si sottrae certo al trend, mantenendo però una “sobrietà” del tutto sconosciuta alle sue rivali Lady Gaga e Katy Perry (diretta concorrente col singolo fresc fresco E.T.).
Si parla di fine del mondo, con riferimenti al 2012, ma nella tribù di Britney non c’è paura che tenga, perché c’è sempre la musica a farci ballare. Quindi, mentre il mondo in superficie va a rotoli, noi sottoterra ci dimeniamo come ossessi al ritmo di questa che diventerà di sicuro una hit. Facendo gridare molti al miracolo, perché ormai la povera Britney la davano tutti per spacciata.
