Joan As Police Woman: The Magic è il nuovo singolo

Joan Wasser, la 40enne cantautrice indie nata nel Maine e cresciuta nel Connecticut e più nota come Joan As Police Woman. Il video musicale youtube The Magic e' il nuovo singolo tratto dal nuovissimo album  intitolato "The deep field". 

Il precedente lavoro dell'ex fidanzata di Jeff Buckley, "To survive", era uscito nel giugno 2008 ed era stato votato dal mensile musicale britannico "Q" tra i migliori 50 di quell'anno. Joan, che in passato ha fatto parte degli Antony and the Johnsons, ha affermato che "The magic" parla di come si possa quasi impazzire quando ci si preoccupa troppo di tutto.

A vederla non si direbbe, ma Joan Wasser si sente una persona vulnerabile, che ha fatto della sincerità sulle sue emozioni la chiave della sua musica.
