La storia del “Lady Killer”, sia per ciò che riguarda l’immagine che la musica, ha fatto molto sorridere tanto da dare il pollice alto alla nuova strada artistica intrapresa da Cee-Lo Green. Nuovo estratto da “Lady Killer” del rapper e produttore è una divertente canzone intitolata “It’s ok” di cui qui  vi mostriamo il video musicale youtube. 

Un grande successo quello dell’ex Gnarls Barkley, nominato anche ai prossimi Grammy Awards per il suo ultimo progetto.  La canzone e la clip sembrano, ed in realtà lo sono, una continuazione del precedente “Fuck You”: non che ci sia qualcosa di sbagliato in questo, però sinceramente ci aspettiamo tutti, forse, molto di più dal cantante.

Una voce del genere, un piglio artistico come il suo ed una personalità esplosiva e piena di carisma di questo tipo sono tutti elementi che non possono rimanere cristallizzati sempre nella stessa forma. C’è bisogno di cambiare, di sperimentare e quindi di esplorare: se queste attività non vengono portate a termine da chi se lo può permettere, a chi dovremmo affidarci allora?
Altro brano interessante da vedere e ascoltare è “Bright Lights Bigger City”. All’interno della clip lo vediamo interpretare il ruolo di boss della mafia che gira la città impegnato a concludere dei loschi affari.
