Lo scorso 4 Marzo è uscito il nuovo singolo di Mads Langer "Microscope" di cui vediamo il video musicale youtube. Malinconia, dolcezza e leggerezza si fondono per dare vita ad un brano che è destinato a diventare un punto saldo della scena musicale del 2011.
Tra qualche settimana uscirà anche il suo disco di debutto "Behold", che ha avuto una genesi piuttosto lunga e che conterrà anche il primo singolo di successo "You Are Not Alone".
Il cantautore danese, cercherà di confermarsi con un inedito restando nell'ambito soft-pop acustico ma non lascia nulla al caso nel suo songwriting:
"L'album Behold è un riflesso del costante flusso di musica che mi scorre nelle vene. Osservo attraverso la mia musica, e gioco a ping pong tra la musica e i testi, per catturare istantanee della mia realtà. Sono molto ispirato dal modo in cui Keith Jarrett lascia che le sue mani perdano il controllo e creino grandi momenti di improvvisazione poetica. Lo stesso si può dire di artisti come Ryan Adams e Jeff Buckley.
Mi ritrovo in tutti e tre, perché tutti e tre sembrano lasciarsi trasportare in posti meravigliosi dalle proprie intuizioni e dalle proprie sensibilità musicali desiderose di sperimentare. La mia musica nasce nella stessa maniera".
Intanto un suo brano inserito nell'album, "The River Has Run Wild", è già apparso nella serie televisiva The Vampire Diaries.
